Saumya is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience spanning audit, accounting, compliance, and operations. She also holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) from ACCA (UK), reflecting her strong expertise in global accounting standards. As Director – Operations at Mohan Management Consultants, Saumya leads the firm’s entire Accounting and Review division, overseeing a multidisciplinary team of professionals across HR, payroll, and client service functions. She plays a pivotal role in managing the quality, consistency, and timely delivery of accounting and BPO services, ensuring that clients’ statutory and operational needs are met with precision. In addition to her client-facing responsibilities, Saumya is a key member of the company’s leadership team, taking major finance-related decisions and shaping the firm’s financial strategy. She provides high-level review and oversight on complex financial matters, sets internal control policies, and ensures compliance with Singapore’s regulatory framework. She partners closely with Relationship Managers to conduct in-depth portfolio assessments, identifying service gaps, areas for potential enhancement, and opportunities to introduce complementary offerings that align with evolving client needs. Her data-driven analysis often leads to service expansion, recalibration of fee structures, or reclassification of clients based on activity and engagement levels.
